Wood Pecker at Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi, India

This was the first time I have seen a wood pecker. It was pecking out food from between the cracks of this stone wall. Please do let us know if you know any more about this bird.

    Oh dear…sorry to disappoint this is hoopoe not a wood pecker. But it may be part of the woodpecker genus, it isnt a wood pecker sorry. But Hoopoe! probably more exciting! I have never seen one.
